Karen Hoskin will be speaking at Chicago Rum Week (April 26th at 2pm at WeWork), hosting tastings at The Chicago Rum Festival (April 27 noon to 6pm at Logan Square Auditorium), and co-hosting the official after party of the Chicago Rum Fest (Lost Lake!) Karen Hoskin and special guest - NY Bartender and Rum Expert Shannon Mustipher - will cohost a lunch seminar on premium rum and American rum in general, and Montanya Rum in specific, at a James Beard nominated vegan restaurant in Manhattan. Karen will give the keynote address at Little Rock’s annual sustainability conference, representing Zoetica.
Karen will be presenting with a group of female distillers and professionals about the landscape of women working in alcohol beverage and the importance of gender diversity at distilleries, in the workplace, in venture deals, in lending and beyond.
Karen will be a featured expert on a Women Leading Rum Panel and on a Sustainability in the Rum Business panel. Karen will have the privilege of being seated alongside owners and directors of some of the most influential distilleries in the national such as Roberto Seralles, Richard Seale, and more.
Karen will teach two seminars, one about Environmental Sustainability and one about Distillery Business at the ADI Conference in Portland, Oregon. She will also host an educational and mentoring event of women distillers and distillery owners through The Women’s Distillery Guild.
